200 HRS ONLINE TEACHER TRAINING COURSE

The Registered Yoga Teacher 200 Hours course is designed by Yoga Alliance, and taught by Yogacharya Atul Kumar Verma exclusively to iwillbfit members online and at our School at Yogatreya. It is a 200 hour long course taught over a period of 5 weeks and presents an international recognition of skills and techniques accepted over 130+ countries.

The goal of our Yoga Teacher Training Program is to nourish and produce qualified, inspiring, and motivated yoga teachers/ trainers who are able to draw on their own practice and personal discipline in imparting the yoga experience to others.

You will establish a firm foundation of discipline - the traditional teachings of Hatha Yoga - that promoted physical, mental, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual growth and build a strong knowledge base which will let you teach and guide others naturally and with confidence. This training will prove beneficial not only for aspiring yoga teachers but also serious practitioners who want to develop and deepen their self-practice and expand their awareness of yoga as a discipline.

WHAT SETS US APART?

Our philosophy is included in the belief that the mind and body is a single unit. The Sanskrit word Yog comes from the verb root Yuj, which means to link or to connect. When we talk about linking or connection, an obvious question arises: to connect what with what? CURRICULUM

As depicted in Patanjali's Yoga Sutra, 'Asanas' is one of the eight limbs of yoga.  Asanas refer to postures held for a certain duration, staying relaxed, steady, comfortable and motionless. You will learn the intricacies of the asanas and how you can use your mind to improve the practice of Asana. We are going to teach more than 50 asana and kriyas to align your body with the mind.

Pranayama consists of two words ‘prana’ & ‘ayama’. Prana means vital energy whereas ayama means extension/expansion. The word pranayama means the extension of the dimension of prana.

Practice & Theory

Meditation is difficult yet the simplest form of practice. To learn meditation one should know how the human brain works. The human brain has its capabilities and limitations, when you are aware of both, meditation becomes easy. The course provides different styles of meditation techniques to relax human mind & body.

 

What you learn in most of the schools is the script for the meditation but here we teach you how to make your meditation techniques. Learn the secrets of its working and optimize the functioning of the brain.

All medical theories, whether conventional or alternative are based on the concept that diseases are a malfunction of the body. However, they are biological with the sole objective of protecting your life. Significant emotional event impacts the mind and the corresponding body part. Since body and mind is treated different, the core issue in the mind is not solved. Diseases are psychosomatic i.e it is caused by a disruption in mind. Psycho = Mind Soma = Body. We work on the premise that all diseases are generated in mind. 98% of the diseases are psychosomatic. What we cover-

EVALUATION PROCESS

The trainees will be assessed and rewarded the certificate after taking up a written and practical test. They will be required to teach and demonstrate their knowledge to fellow students and a client, virtually.

● Written Test: Combination of objective and subjective questions.
● Oral Test: Group discussions, debates, question and answer sessions
● Attendance: Students & practitioners are expected to be present on time and on designated days of study. Regular attendance and punctuality are important to maintain the practice and effective learning. Arriving late or absence causes disruption in the study which could also lead to termination of admission.
● Performance: Conducting given TTC assignments will also be observed.
● Code of conduct: Social and ethical behaviour will be observed
● Assignments: This allows the teacher to understand the direction of students in preparing a schedule. Students will be required to teach and demonstrate their knowledge to fellow students and a client, virtually. Feebacks will help you improve and improvise the learnings.
